FAQ:

Where Are Your Print Package Prices?

The price is the price: no print fees or picture packages. We believe you shouldn’t be financially penalized for having many pictures you want to print. We will upload the files to you (We prefer Adoramapix.com) in the proper formatting, you can create an account there and pay for them yourself.

How Should I Prepare For My Shoot?

Tight athletic clothing which exposes the features you’re most proud of works best.

Bodybuilding/Fitness Model: We recommend getting “dry” to eliminate as much subcutaneous water retention as possible. Do not apply baby oil as it will create overexposed highlights in your photos. We will provide posing oil if necessary. Read more here if you’ve never prepared for a show or shoot.

Yoga/Pilates/PT: Come to your shoot limber and ready to pose. You know how long it takes your cold muscles to warm-up, arrive at least that early. We will have a staging area for you to get prepared.

Milestone Moment: Bring your game face and a smile. Blast some of the music you listed to while accomplishing your goal. We want to capture that moment.

Do You Shoot Weddings/Newborns/Engagement Pictures?

Nope. Wedding are terrifying. Newborns are impossible to control and Cliché poses aren’t our thing. Athletic photography let’s us shoot the types of people we like to be around and create the images we are most proud of. We also shoot real estate photography.

What Types of Payments Do You Accept?

Cash, Visa, Master Card, AMEX. We can take your payment when you arrive for your shoot. We’ll take a check if we’ve been to your house for dinner.

What Is Your Post Processing Like?

We shoot in RAW, often directly into Adobe Lightroom so clients can immediately see the capture. We adjust for color, white balance, highlights and lowlights then ship it to Photoshop to get our hands dirty. We use the very latest techniques to keep images looking real; skin texture and shimmer are essential. Eyes are round and have different colors, they should never ever be pure white. We dodge and burn to enhance any musculature that the light may have missed. Our techniques are the same used by high fashion magazine retouchers. A headshot with a thorough retouch takes roughly 40 minutes, an athlete portrait can take longer. See out blog post “What kind of retouching am I getting” to get more insight on our perspective.
