Ken and I are photographers on the side. I’ve been surprised at how many people didn’t understand how we came up with our name. There is an apostrophe in our last name. That’s it. 🙂
We have had some amazing inspiration lately. We’ve been blessed to capture the celebrations of engagements, weddings and even vow renewals. Studio shoots are different. They’re raw and intimate. There is no hiding and I just love what I see every time. People are beautiful.
I’ve seen Lanie at the yoga studio many times before and she was shy and quiet, without much to say. She stepped onto the set of our shoot and transformation happened. She instantly shifted from a meek teenage girl to a strong and confident young woman. It was amazing to witness.
I believe we all need creative outlets in life, hobbies the separate us from our careers and even children. I’m lucky my husband and I share this together, this art that we create.
